Work and Power in Physical Systems 🏗️

### Work Done by a Force: In physics, **Work** is defined as the product of force and distance moved **in the direction of the force**: $$W = F \cdot d \cos\theta \quad (\text{Joules, J})$$ * If an object does not move ($d = 0$), work done is zero regardless of how much effort is exerted! **Power** is the rate of doing work or transferring energy: $$P = \frac{W}{t} \quad (\text{Watts, W, where } 1\text{ W} = 1\text{ J/s})$$
Core Takeaway: Work is force × displacement in direction of force. Power is work ÷ time.
